We ate like kings. Clare cooked pancakes and Rich made fire...
We went to a moonshine distillery and bought a tipple (thanks Bells and Zain!).
Clare likes all the ones that tasted of sweet things - butterscotch, apple pie, cherry chocolate. Rich was driving so has to rely of Clare telling him which ones to buy...
We also both made friends with Scooter, the neighbour's dog at our cabin.
Then we had to leave our little bit of paradise and the smokies but not before visiting the Salt and Pepper Shaker museum. For those of you who didn't already know, Clare has a little salt and pepper shaker collection and she is very particular about new additions (so much so that Rich is still yet to find a set that makes the grade...) but there was such a wide selection that she did manage to buy a souvenir to add to it (but Clare failed to get salt in her eye - sorry Charlie, Ben, Nao and Jonty).
There have been over 400 visitors to the little museum this month. It had over 20,000 shakers, including a whole section on frogs...
Vegetables...
Clare was happy with her goods...
... although the sign is actually lying as the collector has so many she has now opened a museum in Spain as well!
Off to Charleston next!
