We made an 8am start to our journey from Louisana (through Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia) to Tennessee. Originally we were hoping to get there in time to use the pool before dinner, but this plan changed as Smithy was not playing ball and we were stuck trying to get hold of a new car.
We managed to get Smithy the 2nd - which is bigger, better and has a button for an ignition key (and no nail in the tyre, so far). Winners all round and probably only delayed us by and hour and a half.
(Smithy 2 is big and black...Smith Sr is smaller and red).
The only slight negative (although Buzz sees it as a positive) is that Smithy 2 has no arial and so Buzz now has to ride in the cab with us...
We collected the new Smithy from Gulfport Airport. We had never heard of it and I don't know who flies from here but I wish Heathrow was this quiet!
